I don't recall loving Wind-up Bird Chronicles, but I am utterly in love with 1Q84, down to the slightly dysfunctional main characters. It's really very compelling and one of the best books I've read this year (I'm about half-way through). I've only really loved Norwegian Wood before this, although I always find his books interesting.
