Broken windows and empty hallways,
a pale dead moon in a sky streaked with grey.
Human kindness is overflowing,
and I think it's gonna rain today.
Scarecrows dressed in the latest styles,
the frozen smiles to chase love away.
Human kindness is overflowing,
and I think it's gonna rain today.

Good morning, everyone. Rainy day Saturdays... starting with a mug of Taylors of Harrogate's "English Breakfast" tea and thick slabs of home made rye bread spread with butter. Comfort food.

This style of cooking is very popular all over Asia. Most of the restaurants have cooking grills right on each table, and you cook your own as you eat it. Some have charcoal hibachi,
others flat or domed grills, and still others, '
hot pot' or 'Steamboat' soup tureens with burning charcoal in the middle and the boiling soup around the sides. After cooking many different meats and veggies, you drink the soup as a last course. I prefer the charcoal grill type myself, adding thin strips of beef, chicken, pork, sea food, and assorted vegetables as my tongue dictates. Many of these are now 'all you can eat' places (called "Viking Style" in Japan, but God only knows why!) and rather cheap but good tasting foods!
Time for one more cup of tea and off to do my chores!
