As I said in the other thread, factory defaults only clears the user data so you have a 'clean' operating system. The special build is based on a phone version of Android 2.2 so going to factory defaults means you are trying to run a phone on your PE.
The only way to restore to ermine is to revert to dingo and then upgrade again.
At some stage the very bright programmers on here may be able to get round that limitation but until then it's back to golden then up to ermine.
