I think that besides resolution, it's going to be difficult for Apple to provide a very solid and noticeable upgrade over current iPad2. The main difference between iPad2 and 1st gen is weight, but not sure if they can make it even less heavy than current model.
My dream tablet would be an iPad with same screen size and weight than Kindle DXG.

actually thats incorrect
1. Ipad2 has a 3 axis gryoscope that ipad doesnt have.
2. Ipad 2 has 512 mb ram ipad has 256mb ram
3. Ipad 2 has 1ghz dual core A5 cpu (with better graphics processing) ipad has an a4 single core.
this doesnt sound like much but its a major differense in gaming, video playing video/photo editing and basic auto cad work and art programs ... if all you do is read books or surfing the internet and texting then yes its not much of a difference.
