Just been in to Tesco and picked up a Vivanco Universal Charger. This comes complete with a 'H' tip which fits the PocketEdge, and the voltage is switchable from 3-12 volts (obviously we want 12!). It also comes with a variety of tips for other devices.

Early test would seem to suggest it charges our Edge nicely - just be aware there is a right way and a wrong way to put the tip on!

I got this for the princely sum of £10 - which seemed pretty reasonable to me.

If it is not available in your store, it is also available on Tesco Direct, with free delivery to store. This is for the white version. There is also a black version at play.com - but that cost £16.47.
