I personally don't think the new Kindle (Nook, Sony, Kobo etc..) will necessarily make men buy more of these devices - just because they fit in a breast coat pocket.

However, there's no reason to think that those who were going to buy it for other reasons wouldn't READ it more for the same reason.

Myself, I always have a manbag on me and that just fits my Kindle 3 anyway. So it wouldn't make me personally read more. But I completely agree that the Kindle 3's portability made me read more because I could fit it in my manbag and the same couldn't be said for a large number of the paperbooks I was reading previously.

As an aside, I love the latest incarnation of smaller touch ereaders of all makes. I wasn't that enthusiastic about touch screen for ereaders, but I do like the smaller device with the same screen size so call me a potential convert.
