What made me make this thread was when I was reading a book by a UK Author set in England and it used American spelling!
What annoys me even more is I have found several UK sites that sell it with the UK spelling (I think even kobo does) but I am not allowed to by it!
Bob, I agree. I would rather read a book in the original English, instead of having it 'translated' into 'American' for me. You lose the opportunity to learn more about another culture and many subtleties.
