I haven't bought from Google (US store) even though I was able to work around the fact that I wasn't in the US as I found their prices to generally be higher. Kobo's prices are pretty sharp, Diesel ebooks also has good prices, and I've also used BooksonBoard. Diesel and BoB are accessed by browser they don't have apps. I usually compare the three and buy from the cheapest...
