I work at a university, and if I show up ON TIME for work I have to park in the aux lot, which is about 1/4 mile from the door of my building... then its another 1/2 mile through the building to my office. But i show up over an hour early and can park near the entrance to my office and its more like 100 yards to my desk from my SUV.
Now, I dont mind.
In fact I walk the 1.5 or so miles to McDonalds for lunch on nice days, and then the 1.5 back. Some times jog a 5k at lunch. Helps clear the mind from the daily grind....
