Those "major" shortcommings are both your opinion. I have yet to want to look up a word and the built in font is fine for me.

Sorry, with all the buggy problems people have had with the CyBook, it seems to be the "cheap" device to me, even being $100 more than the Sony. No, if I was going to spend $400 on a reader, it will be the Kindle at this point.
Sony is a good solid reader, with no bugs and the features that you need to read ebooks, for a great price. You can't deny that no matter how many times you protest that the CyBook is "better". What good are all those features if the think crashes and pages don't turn when you push the button?
