Ultimate test is to look at both and see which one you prefer. I was 90% convinced I would buy the Kobo but when I saw them, it just had no appeal and when I looked at the Sony, I really liked the finish and the look......
The good news is that the Kobo is readily available in WH Smith stores but only the larger ones have them on display. The Sony shops have working display models of the PRS-T1 so availability shouldn't be a problem.
