My Sony PRS 650 was really easy to get onto, but it looks like the Vox is going to take some getting used to. But then the Vox does more, too. I see it as a reader with other benefits. I can see, though, that this forum will be most helpful in learning how to get the most out of this device. I'm really glad I found my way here.

The Sony area had a thread about battery issues with the 650, and I have found that my battery life on my reader is not what I would have expected. It's livable. I mean, I can go for two or three days before I drop by one bar, depending on how much I'm using the reader, but I had expected better battery life than that. Still, it's not suddenly draining, so it's tolerable. We have a lot of power outages where I live, so I tend to keep everything fully charged up just in case.
