From what I have seen, there has been no confirmation from Kobo staff that there is an update due out today. It is possible that when the Chapters' employee told a potential Vox buyer that they would not have the Vox until today and that an update was due before they made it available, the person was actually passing on information based on it being for sale at Chapters on the 28th and the update we all got once we had them in our hot little hands.
If someone has better info, that would be wonderful!
