Unfortunately, you can't install PRS+ using a Mac. You need a PC (or PC emulation software). I'm not sure of the system requirements, and I did have problems because the first PC I borrowed was running old software. But once I was able to borrow a PC with more recent software, it was a simple matter of downloading the proper PRS+ installer, unzipping the file, finding setup.exe, then connecting my reader to the PC and running setup.exe.
