Don't rush in to updating.
Your PE will be a different experience to other tablets so I would advise you to use it as it is for a few days. That way you will learn what you can do with it and how it works.
Too many people have run into problems because they didn't understand how their PE, and EE, worked - they made assumptions based on what they knew of other tablets, those assumptions very often are not valid, hence the problems.
As Filark says, enjoy what you have but learn its quirks.
