that is usually an indication of 1. busyness 2. laziness (either / or / both).
but in this specific case, there is also the fact that in order to reply i will first have to open the message with my eyes shut, copy all the text (still with my eyes shut), paste it into notebook or something, and then close your original message (still without opening my eyes). sheesh, putting the photo directly in there, not even a link so i have time to prepare myself mentally...
