But it's rather lacking in many ways. It has no dictionary lookup facilities (a major shortcoming). You can't load your own fonts onto it (an even more major shortcoming). It doesn't support font families. You can't replace the battery.
Yes, the Sony is cheap, but "cheap" and "good value" are not necessarily the same thing. As with most things in life, you get what you pay for.
