Acronyms I Have Known

In and around the US Government (and all governments for that matter) acronyms are a way of life. NatCh is famous for his TLAs so I thought I would open the arena to everyone. The principle is a common acronym with another meaning. One of the strangest was a poster I saw on a Major’s wall at the Pentagon that has in large letters “UNA” and in the lower left corner in tiny type it said, “Use No Acronyms”. He was passed over for promotion.

So I offer the following as seed acronyms:

CPA = Cut and Paste Artist
ADP = Awful Damn Pathetic
IBM = I’ve Been Moved

Then for those of you old enough to remember, “LSMFT” This is a family friendly web site so ….
