I have to agree with MattW. For quite awhile there was even a question as to what OS the new T1 had, it wasn't easy to figure out at the time, so most buyers wouldn't have a clue was OS is on a reader since Sony didn't advertise it. And having an older generation reader from a company, I would expect at least the same level of capabilities for reading PDFs or any supported format in a new reader from the same company. If it's somehow a lesser quality, that's the company's fault, not the buyer's.
