How did you Copy them to Calibre?
BTW It may take some time, the first time (Calibre creates a file on your device the first time it connects) to poll your devices books for metadata.

You should also wait for the Calibre Job Wheel to stop after sending books to your device before disconnecting. This is Calibre updating that file.
