There is a group of people here whose attitude has always been - 'use Calibre, stop complaining about the Reader Library'. The problem with that is - Calibre won't help if you want to store or backup your annotations, highlights, bookmarks, etc.

For some users - and I am obviously one of those - annotations are important.
