As for Jobs believing that Google "stole" its design from Apple...I would have to agree, on matter of UI design. It's pretty clear that Android did lift the user interface - even though the software is different - the aesthetics are the same.

I played with a early alpha of Android before the rework several months before Apple released or announced iOS, and it was more or less a weird Blackberry and Win Mobile variant. After iOS was out, the new Android build was a complete overhaul into what you see today.

Jobs and I think many people for that matter in the tech industry, are all about the aesthetics. Sure iOS and Android and WinPhone 7 do the same things, but the way you go about doing them and how it looks while doing so; are the things people notice and care about. To that degree, I can understand and relate - after all it is one reason why some people buy one thing over another.

I can understand how Jobs felt and how essentially old school he was about the situation a fit of caution. After being screwed by MS, I don't think he wanted to take another chance on a repeat.

Heck if anything at this point, I believe MS has more of an argument, then again they make 100s of millions off of Android without even working on it. I also believe Oracle and it's JAVA properties have some sort of case against Android at the moment.

Also, Apple is 100% correct on Adobe and Flash, and everyone is following them on it, even Adobe is preparing everyone with the move to HTML5. They are offering a method of converting Flash to HTML5.
