As the fellow who accidentally coined the phrase (if I'd had any idea ....), I'd have to say it's a matter of what I can pronounce without several warm-up tries and what I can't.

For example, I can say the word "utterable" easily enough, but for some reason, I can't say "unutterable" without making several attempts and slowing my speech way down (keep in mind that I'm already Southern, so we're talkin' waaaaay sloooooow).

Also, if I can't read something aloud because it's silliness quotient (SQ -- I'm claiming that one from the outset) overwhelms my ability to control my voice then it would qualify as Unutterably Silly.


Then there's the short answer: If it's labelled [Unutterably Silly] in the thread title, then it is. Duh.
