Wow, cool device. I have decided that an A4 colour e-reader is exactly what is needed for reading scientific papers (after experimenting holding my laptop on it's side for a bit). The big reason for this being that the documents themselves are formatted for this display and no matter how good your re-formatting it is always easiest to follow the document as the author laid it out. And reducing to A5 doesn't work well even on a printed page for some documents.
The only issues are the slow refresh time and the lowish resolution. Looks like things are getting good enough to be interesting, but not quite good enough to buy yet (unless it's really cheap)...
Also, people have mentioned other A4 readers in this thread, but I couldn't find any info on them...
