Thanks for the delete clue. I found the issue. When kepubs are deleted a book record is left in the dataabse with an ___ExpirationStatus=3 and the row gets deleted when you sync with Kobo the next time.

I had been treating epubs the same way but the sync does not delete the non-kepub rows.

The next release will have show these expired book records and allow you to correctly delete them.
