I set up my mail using the 'email' app. as per my ISP instructions for incoming and outgoing mail. Incoming mail is working fine, but outgoing mail will not work. When I try to set up my outgoing mail, I keep getting an error message saying "Username or password incorrect - 535 #5.7.0 Authentication failed". I remember reading somewhere that turning off authentication would make this work, but there's no option for this. When I leave my userid/password out, the outgoing server settings are set up okay, but then my outgoing mail won't send (error message saying 'connection error').

I had no problems with my android phone, so I am wondering if this is specific to this version of the OS. Can anyone with some Android experience advise?
