While I enjoyed her writing skills, her use of sudden confession to reveal the perpetrator was weak and distasteful. When characters and readers are stumped just springing a confession at us is somewhat amateurish and lacks ingenuity. Book was an unpleasant surprise. Rate it a generous C [3 stars].
