The article appears to be very poorly written and both devoid both of pertinant information while at the same time exhibiting misconceptions about the legislative process.
I don't think I will panic until I have seen the full bill and know what comittee it is being reviewed in.
Were the reporter remotely competent, this piece would have told us who introduced the bill - and who the co-sponsers were. As the article is devoid of any information of that nature whatsoever, I am forced to assume an attempt is being made to lead me to make some reaction out of a sense of outrage - even if I have to be misled to get me there.
