If port 80 is available on your system, I suggest changing the port setting for calibre's content server to port 80. The calibre server would then be on http://myipaddress/opds which should work with Mantano (covers and thumbnails still won't work, though). For those that are able to do this, switching to port 80 would make for a quick fix. |
Thanks for your help. Even though messing with servers and routers is a little beyond me, I was able to switch calibre from port 8080 to port 80 and ... port 80 doesn't work for me. I did some googling and figured out how to find open ports on my computer. Tried one of them, it works for Aldiko but not for Mantano.
I also found some info about how to free up port 80 but, I'm with blak4dr on this one:
