@harpangel36: You can't add more choices to the [Aa] menu, that's just how it is. You'll always only be able to change what the 'serif' (regular) and 'sans' fonts look like with the hack.
And yes, the Kindle needs all the stuff that's in the fonts folder.
The original serif font is called Caecilia, it should be in there with all the rest.
If you'd like to have Caecilia on hand through the [Aa] menu, there's an easy tweak to be done with the Fonts hack: drop a blank file named "nocondensed" (without the quotes, of course) in the linkfonts folder, and restart your Kindle. After that, the 'condensed' option in the [Aa] menu should point to the default Caecilia font (ie. 'regular' on a vanilla Kindle).
