Time for some commonsense into this thread ......

I've had a blinding realisation - B & N are much cleverer than we realized.

I think they've hit on a real money-maker, selling things on an industrial scale, to a niche market, that the likes of Amazon have allowed to pass by.
They'll be in on the ground floor- and thereby hangs the point, and I think they've let slip a clue that's perhaps more obvious to us Brits.

What they are going to be selling is not floor rugs - it's head rugs !
[This being the...vernacular term here for a wig, toupee, hairpiece, whatever. ]

Think of the profit margins they'll command.

"Rugs R B & N".... bespoke hair & ebooks.

Oh, I can see it now...........
