Hi Alex. Pleasure to be of assistance and the Cybook I think would be a very good choice, it can be a little on the hard to get side though. For an Australian user its the cheapest of the DRM (mobipocket) compatible devices.
One from left field, have you looked at an eeePC? Not an e-ink device nor a dedicated reader as such, but a very good all round tool that is about the same price. Can support mobipocket, adobe support is comming this year, wifi capable, nearly 9" screen (on the 900) I believe and its a much more flexible and a very portable device. I only say this becuase I have just ordered one to benchmark against my ectaco.
Oh, and another thing, Jinke (hanlin) have released a V3 model in europe with mobi support so you might want to check with them if it is being released generally. I personally think mobipocket support will make this a very good unit.
