Those were sold at lost. It is not possible to make a 90 bucks TP and make some profit, mathematical and engineering speaking. Not at this moment, who knows in 2, 3 or more years. So because companies work for profit, not charity ...
... I'm afraid that won't happen again.
I have some peers that bought one or two and gave those to their children so they can at least, browse Internet with it. Very cheap "laptop" if we can call it that way.
I would not take out of the equation another HP tablet though, but that's something that probably will be seriously evaluated before launching it officially again.
