Besides... generosity is largely immaterial to a discussion about whether giving friends/family access to sensitive account information (for the purpose of sharing ebooks) is a good idea (act) or a bad one.

My favorite part is when someone says
"You should let people borrow your books because I once helped a friend who needed some food" and doesn't get the difference.
It's good to know that books have now achieved the same important status as food.
