Actually, they helped.
a) they wanted to make a sale
b) they don't really care what you do to demos; they can be restored easily.
Some idiot, though, had set up the gmail for their personal email (use the web browser - no settings and you can clear cookies and history) and left it on there - I just sent that person an invite to the appstore app (it comes from amazon, no identifying info).
I even installed a couple of apps I wanted to use, tested them, then deleted them (and the appstore and cleared cookies & history after logging in to amazon and removing the device from my "dev list" in the android store.
The tablet is fine - not one I want to do a lot of typing with, especially on some web sites, as they keep refreshing and it's nearly impossible to type. Android itself is a bit of an issue, for me, since keyboard shortcuts are missing or inconsistent (and there's a lock button where DELETE should be on the keyboard).
