I have done this. I used an address of a store just across the border. You must change your country of origin also. Once you receive your book, just change it back. Out of the 5 or so times that I did this, I received 1 email from kindle stating to send proof that I was a USA resident. I didn't (cause I'm not). Then I thought, I'll try it again and it worked. I think it might just be an auto generated email when the account's country of origin changes... but I am not sure why I did not receive the email all 5 times...

Anyway, this borders on dishonesty (ok it is dishonest) so do at your own risk to your morality... Oh and this was back in May so I am not sure if any update or change of procedure has changed. I doubt it. They took my money and ran and sent their obligatory email to wash their hands of it. (IMO)
