One of the Books A Million stores that went in to the old Borders locations in St Louis is like that. Big giant store front, and the books section is just what Borders had for the Children's books and the paper goods. The rest is comics, movies, and video games. It wasn't until I was in the store for a half hour that I realized it wasn't a traditional Books A Million store, but rather a "BAM Play and Trade", which specialized in used goods. A couple weeks later, I was at a work function at another mall (My company had a family day at the NASCAR Speedpark), and I saw a traditional BAM store, and the mix of books, movies, and music, seemed to be on par with any Borders or B&N store I'd been to.
