Don't even get me started about 2012!! I have 5 series on the list already.

As for remembering books past...I could not come up with one title I read in 2008 ! How does someone lose a whole year?
planning beyond the next book, to me, is a waste of effort. i did plan to re-read an entire series, but during the time it took to do so, i didn't even think about what was to follow. then part way through the last book of that re-read i began considering what i might read next. but i didn't decide till i was actually done. this way works for me (except for more than a half dozen partially read books that i got distracted away from, but they're still there with bookmarks as to where i need to continue when i get around to it)
