Now I know we will have to go back and sort out the existing prefixes. So the sooner this is sorted, the less work there will be to fix what needs fixing.

I too have found the current offering of Genre "lacking" and wish this is discussed soon.
I miss the "Classics" category as this is a convenient catch-all category for works of great esteem but obviously crosses many other genre. There is no right nor wrong answer; even implementing them all will not satisfy everyone.
Take a look at the Blackmask.com (
www.munseys.com) categories:
Code:
• Action • Australia • Biography • Canada • Children • Classic • Critics • Drama
• Education • Elizabethans • Enlightenment • Esoteric • Europa • Fiction • Folklore
• History • Horror • Liberal Arts • Mystery • Nautical • Nonfiction • Orient Express
• Periodicals • Philosophy • Poetry • Political Science • Pulp Fiction • Reference
• Religion • Renaissance • Satire • Science • Science Fiction • Travel
• Unclassified • Western
There is a lot of redundancy there, but it can be parred down to a manage list with the amalgamation with the current one and the Fictionwise list.
Food for thought as I can't make the final selection of what goes and what stays!
