I respectfully disagree. A win does exist, in fact a series of wins do exist. You've won, I've won, and everyone who has posted in this thread have legitimately taken the win for a limited period of time.

But a permanent win is a different matter. I think anyone who claims a permanent win is, by the nature of the thread, is making an incorrect assumption...one that will never be true since each win can be undone at anytime.

Someone could be a winner for months, and then...in an instant...that win is taken away by someone else. We will just have to deal with the bitter disappointment of having our wins taken away from us. But that doesn't mean we can't make a valient attempt to retreve the win even thought it is a futile effort.

However, it does lead to interesting discussions of time travel, the nature of winning, practice in the art of persuation, and other topics. So it might be said that, while the win itself won't be permanent, the discussion itself is its own reward.
