Last year, I did all of my BF shopping online and was finished by 4am. I then spent the rest of the weekend watching videos, visiting, and relaxing. No long lines, no crowds; it was great.

I subscribe to the BF Ads emails.
Browsing the newspaper ads is part of the ritual and a part I really enjoy. I don't like browsing online -- I usually don't have a particular item in mind and it's not much fun for me to click through pages of scans. I prefer to sit at the table with my husband and share the papers and ideas with each other.
I know we could do it together around one or two computers, but like I said, it's an annual ritual that I enjoy.
I love shopping and with a full time job and three kids, I don't do it much anymore. Going out on Black Friday is an adventure -- it doesn't even bother me to not be able to get the things I want. It would be better if I got everything I wanted, and most of the time I do, but it's no great loss if I don't either -- I can spend the next month shopping online for the things I missed.
