Hi,

Just though I'd share a nice little freeware program capable of batch resizing and stamping (adding the 'slide and release' bit at the bottom of images). Windows only, sorry.

FastStone Photo Resizer

Look under Advanced Options, Text tab to set the stamp.

This should be easier and cheaper than the Photoshop solution posted elsewhere. Hope its useful.
