white rum, with orange juice and a slice of lime. Ice cubes. It's raining and dump outside, but the fire is going, dinner is cooking by itself, the work day is over, Little girl is napping after a long day in school, BigGirl will be home soon, ... and why not?
Dinner?
The girls will have fried rolled up sausage and sweet peas. Me, I steamed a bag of frozen cutting of cauliflower and cabbage that was laying around in the home freezer. Steamed a carrot and an onion and blended it all. Then I defreezed a load of pinto beans. I will have some of the cabbage purée as the sauce of some of the beans. I will finish it with fish sauce and cumin. Maybe I will fry some sage and slices of old bread, just to make it more comfortable.
