Yes, I do have a few ideas as this has happened to me in the past.

If you are using a laptop that has that eraser point mouse thing in the keyboard, it may be worn out and not functioning properly. To fix it you either have to disable it in the bios (if that's possible) or open the laptop and snip the cable so it's no longer connected. We had an old Dell laptop that had one that was an issue until I disabled it in the bios.

Another issue can be the trackpad of a laptop. If the trackpad's sensitivity is not high enough, you'll need to change that. With this laptop it was an issue. I downloaded the Synaptics Pointing Device sofware and installed it so I could adjust the settings of the trackpad. Once I adjusted the sensitivity properly, I've had no problems typing on the keyboard.

If you are using a desktop, one thing I had to do on a desktop was to switch from using the mouse port to using the USB port.
