I actually hated those tiny letters in Stanza. I often tapped on those accidentally and lost my location in the library. In this case, I like how Mantano handles scrolling better. It allows me to do a fast scroll ala-Stanza but offers better refinement. With Stanza, you pretty much jump from S -> T, with Mantano, I have the option to go from SA-SE to SM-ST.

Mantano definitely supports this (along with custom collections, publishers, series, language, formats and folders). It has more options for organization than Stanza does.

Haven't experienced any noticeable slowdowns in Mantano running on a relatively slow LG Thrive with a library of 350 books (just working on a test set for now, my iPhone has 3,000).
