Anyway, never mind. I never passed any expensive electronic equipment via scanner except that darn thing which malfunctioned literally 3 minutes afterwards. And was a newbie to ereaders back then.

I have to agree.... though this is a public forum and once something is posted it can go anywhere, it just seems 'wrong' somehow for a post to end up directly quoted in someone's blog. I may have been naive, but MR seemed like a forum where this didn't happen... kind of tacky.
