Recently I traveled with my 650 & my laptop. My wife had her laptop & her iPad. We went through 4 total security checkpoints with no problems at all. My 650 was in my bag every time it went through the scanner. I wasn't worried at all as I was the one how put my stuff in the bin. I had nothing in the bin that was able to put any pressure on the bag. The larger stuff that might have been a problem was in other bins.
