Kindle at the airport scanner
Dear all, I need some help. I will be flying on Wednesday and planning to take Kindle in my handbag. I am a bit afraid to let it pass through the scanner for the xray. The netronix clone mentioned in my signature ended its short, pitiful, useless, disappointing life with cracked screen just after I passed security control/ scanner and it was in my handbag then.
Now, I know the reason for a cracked screen is not/may not be the scanner but once bitten twice shy. I do not want to end up at the airport with useless reader, frustrated that I can't read anything, with 6 unreadable, fat and juicy books I have been avoiding to read just to have them for the upcoming flight and for the week ahead. Mind you though, that netronix thing was of exceptionally poor quality.
Shall I mention it to someone before it passes the scanner? What precautions to take?
Karmalicious thanks for suggestions.
