Not that I'm relying on ADE for my eBooks. But one of the reasons I wanted to go with another Sony when buying a new reader was the flexibility ADE is supposed to provide when choosing a place to get books. It would be nice if I could get it to work.

Use the ADE on your computer to get books onto your computer.

Use the ADE on your T1 to get books on the T1.

You can download any book, DRM or not, directly to your T1. There's no need to have ADE on your computer recognize the device. It's just not necessary.
