Simply UN-Instal first via the Windows Control panel.
(I like to re-boot: for a clean slate.)
Install the slightly older version.
Calibre updates the DB structure, so I don't know how far back you can get away with. Kovid would have to answer that. Backup your Library (at least Metadata.db if you put back this version and make no changes to the data)
